Electric Power Research Institute successfully held a technical appraisal meeting

The company successfully conducted the short circuit test of 334MVA / 500kV single phase auto-excitation non-excitation voltage regulating power transformer for the first time in China. The test system and main equipment are complete and can meet the requirements of 500kV Large-capacity power transformer short-circuit withstand test requirements; test procedures in line with relevant standards, test data collected is full and accurate. For the first time in China, the company successfully carried out a 500 kV power transformer short-circuit withstand test, to fill the gaps in the country. The company has recently won the China Machinery Industry Federation and the Jiangsu Provincial Economic and Information Technology Commission issued in the mechanical and electrical Kejian Zi [2013] No. 068 new product technology appraisal certificate.

Electric Power Research Institute said the above experiment is identified by the appraisal will greatly enhance the company's credibility in the field of testing at home and abroad; the company will start in 2014 after the gradual implementation of the technology testing business.
